Prototyping beyond pixels
I test interactions, not just layouts. Using prototypes, I simulate real flows early - catching edge cases, friction points, and logic gaps before handoff.
Microcopy is part of the UX
Every tooltip, label, and empty state is a chance to guide or frustrate. I write and test microcopy to ensure the experience is both usable and human.
Strategic 'No,' thoughtful 'Yes'
I balance stakeholder requests with user needs and evidance. Saying “no” to clutter and chasing shiny features helps keep the scope focused and manageable.
Designing for deletion
I make offboarding as respectful and frictionless as onboarding, supporting data export, closure, and the freedom to return.

Shan is both tech-savvy, has a solid knowledge of UX, and has experience in crafting a Design System, so he became an important link between the IFS Design System and UI Web components, providing accessibility support for UI Comp Lib/Design System. During his tenure at IFS, he was driving Accessibility Operations as a UX group initiative.
